Multiple races are held across the region throughout the year, including trail races. Kazakhstan, I would say, is a heaven for trail runners wanting to explore its vast natural landscapes. From the alpine slopes of the Tien Shan and Altai ranges in the south and east to the wide-open northern steppes, the country offers diverse terrain for trail running and hiking.
